Aviation Scholarships at The Young Airmans Association

Unfortunately our FLIGHT ACADEMY scholarship waiting list has reached its capacity of OVER 300 applicants from 2021 to the present.  

**We are ONLY taking Drone Academy Applicants** 

At this time we had to close the FLIGHT ACADEMY list to achieve success in acquiring the necessary funding for scholarships. Please be patient as we work diligently to secure the resources needed to expand our youth aviation programs to enroll more present and future youth into our Aviation Programs.

The majority of our funding is provided through the NYC Council Members, which is then distributed by The Department of Youth and Community Development. You can help by contacting your local 

Council Member and expressing the need for them to allocate funds for 

The Young Airmans Association Inc. in your community.

We don't have a definitive timeline for when the scholarship waiting list will reopen, so please try again in January 2026.
